In this edition of our Customer Spotlight series, we\u2019re excited to feature Kathy Taggs, Revenue Integrity Senior Auditor at Children\u2019s Health. As one of the largest and most prestigious pediatric healthcare systems in the country, Children\u2019s Health is dedicated to providing high-quality care to children and their families. Kathy plays a crucial role in ensuring financial accuracy and compliance within the organization. Can you tell us about your role as a Revenue Integrity Sr. Auditor at Children’s Health?<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

I have worked within the Revenue Integrity Department for 7 years and I absolutely love what I do. I work denials from the payors on claims submitted. I also help to make sure our CDM is set-up appropriately with revenue codes, hcpcs codes, descriptions. I work with our Patient Financial Services department to communicate incorrect denials.<\/span><\/p>

How do you and your team stay connected and motivated, especially in a high-stress environment like healthcare?<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Our team stays connected via remote Zoom calls twice a week and a couple of times a year in the physical work environment.<\/span><\/p>

What are some<\/b> unique ways your team celebrates employee milestones and achievements?\u00a0<\/b><\/p>

Nothing unique really, we celebrate with cards and personalized notes of congratulations.<\/span><\/p>

How has using GroupGreeting impacted your team culture at Children\u2019s Health?\u00a0<\/b><\/p>

Being that our team remained remote after COVID, GroupGreeting cards help us celebrate milestones of each of our team members. It\u2019s just a small gesture to let the team know we\u2019re thinking of them during difficult times or celebration times.<\/span><\/p>

Have you noticed any changes in team engagement or morale since you started using GroupGreeting?<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

No, I\u2019ve not noticed any changes. Our team, because it\u2019s fairly small, has always been supporting of one another. It was a bit of a change when we moved to remote. The GroupGreeting cards help us now to keep the caring and special wishes still a part of our connection.<\/span><\/p>

Can you share a memorable story or experience with a GroupGreeting card?<\/b> \u00a0<\/b><\/p>

I honestly can\u2019t think of a specific or memorable story, as each time we send a card, the reaction is a happy one. I think the times we send a card during a loss to a team member is probably the most meaningful, as the person knows the team is here for support.<\/span><\/p>
